| The Athletics Association, formally known as The Society of Physical Education and Recreation (SPER), is a key avenue for extra curricular activities of the students. The Society is well run by the nominated student Secretaries and representatives under the supervision of associated faculty members and a Physical Training Officer. The Institute boasts of one of the largest and best playgrounds of the state which has been host to many District Level, University Level and State Level tournaments in last twenty five years. The institute also has basket ball courts, badminton courts and indoor table tennis courts etc. SPER conducts the Annual Athletic Meet as well as various other games and competitions throughout the year. The students have often come back with flying colours from participation in BPUT, IIT and other meets in recent years. |
